Effective consulting requires a commitment of time and talent, combined with a candid exchange of information and opinion. Therefore, we follow a process that allows you to measure our capabilities before you engage our services.
Prior to engaging our services, we complete the first two steps of the Capital Navigation Plan.
The first step is a mutual evaluation. Based on your situation and our capabilities, we determine together whether it makes sense to proceed to the next step.
If it appears there may be a fit, using the Discovery Guide, we gather information about objectives, cash flow, assets, taxes, estate planning documents, and other pertinent data.
Charting the Course
The second step, Charting the Course, is a detailed document outlining the scope of the work we expect to do on your behalf.
Depending on your current needs, the initial scope of our work with you may include one, or all six, of the primary wealth management areas: investment planning, retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, risk planning, or business planning.
- Review the scope of our comprehensive Charting the Course document.
- Outline a one-time planning fee, which is based on the scope of our work.
- In context of all your objectives, you will review our preliminary observations and strategies to help you reach your goals.
- You then decide if you want to engage our services, based on our compensation and the benefits of working with us.
Please note: There is no charge for the Charting the Course document.
